You Must Be Lucky Productions was founded by the husband and wife team of Matt Evans and Christine Walters. They met as performers at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in 2005, and have been writing and producing stories that make them laugh ever since.  Based in New York, You Must Be Lucky is committed to creating interesting, funny content in collaboration with like-minded comedians and filmmakers.

Matt Evans is an actor/writer living in New York.  He’s the creator and co-writer of the original comedy pilot Breaking The News, which was an official selection at the 2012 NYTVF Independent Pilot Competition.  His news reporter character, Gary Vosot is loosely based on the TV reporters Matt worked with during his time spent as a cameraman at local news stations in the North East.  Matt’s “Gary Vosot” videos and other originals have been featured on College Humor, The Huffington Post, VH1, Funny or Die, AOL, UCB Comedy, Cartoon Network’s Thing X and Splitsider.  He can also be seen as the principal character in commercials for Newsday, Geico, Miracle Whip, 3 Musketeers, Toyota, Royal Caribbean and Dominos.  He’s a founding member of the improv group, 4Track, a Time Out critics pick, and a performer on the house sketch teams at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.  Additionally, Matt is a freelance writer for Comedy Central and the co-writer of the original web series Other Mothered for the NickMom channel.

Christine Walters is a writer/producer and native New Yorker. Most recently, she served as executive producer for truTV's first-ever sketch comedy series, Friends of the People.  Previously, she served as head writer on Impractical Jokers.  Her work has also been seen on Comedy Central, Sundance Channel, Bravo, A&E, Jim Henson Productions, and on 2 Emmy Award-winning seasons of Sesame Street.  As a performer and voiceover artist, she has had recurring characters on the FUSE comedy series, The Nighttime Clap, Comedy Central's Shorties Watchin' Shorties, Cartoon Network’s Sheep In the Big City, and as various bimbos and schoolgirls on MTV's Beavis and Butthead.  She is a founding member of the veteran Upright Citizens Brigade improv team, Mother.  Additionally, she co-created the UCB sketch comedy show, Telethon and the all-parent improv show, The Mamas and The Papas. She is the executive producer and co-writer of the original comedy pilot Breaking The News, which was an official selection at the 2012 NYTVF Independent Pilot Competition and the co-creator, writer and star of the original web series Other Mothered on the NickMom channel.
